“R U Surious?” Subaru Announces PHEV Crosstrek

The Crosstrek Hybrid is returning to Subaru showrooms after a 2-year absence, and will become the company’s first plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV).  The 2019 Crosstrek Hybrid uniquely integrates the Toyota Hybrid System (THS), one of most proven alternative drivetrains in modern automotive history (Subaru + Prius = Surius?), with Subaru’s four-cylinder direct-injection BOXER engine, Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive and an all-new transmission.  Look for the new Subaru Crosstrek Hybrid at Subaru retailers near the end of this year.
