When you think Jeep, you likely think Wrangler, arguably the most iconic and prolific member of the brand’s lineup. While the Wrangler has certainly earned its status as the family’s headlining act, it knows to respect its elders which laid today’s “Trail Rated” foundation.

It started with old Granpda Willys, and for the 2025 model year Wrangler is honoring this hardened vet with the 4xe Willys ‘41 Special Edition. It looks the part of the iconic Jeep seen on the beaches of Normandy, the sands of the Pacific Theater and beyond, but underneath it’s all 21st century.

This may sound familiar to fans, as we actually drove the original concept back in season 42. The ‘41 adorns a unique battle dress uniform: a unique olive drab-inspired paintjob contrasted by a tan interior and an available tan soft-top. Hitting the dirt is a set of exclusive 17-inch aluminum wheels matching the body, mounted up with 33-inch all-terrain tires. There’s a number of Army-inspired decals and finishing touches, including period-correct Drab Blue hood graphics. Along with the tan top, buyers will be able to choose between a body-color hard-top or a Sky One-Touch powertop roof. Inside, OD door inserts and a unique ‘41 shifter medallion complement the Heritage upholstery.

Performance is derived from the same plug-in hybrid 4xe we’ve seen before: A 2.0-liter turbo-four gas engine supplemented by a pair of electric motors powered by a high-volt battery. On electric propulsion alone, the Wrangler 4xe sees up to 21 miles of all-electric range, and up to 49 mpg when burning gas in tandem. Standard equipment here also includes a rear locker for improved off-road traction.

The 2025 Jeep Wrangler 4xe Willys ‘41 starts at $61,825 with delivery. Interested buyers can put an order in now, with examples arriving at dealers by the end of the year.
