History and style are being crafted in a rare opportunity from Aston Martin. They’re building the Aston Martin DBS 59. This limited edition commemorates Aston Martin’s 1959 win at Le Mans.
It’s based on their fastest car… the DBS Superleggera which is powered by a 5.2-litre V12 engine and can reach a top-speed of 211mph. From there, the brand’s personalization service ‘Q by Aston Martin’ added touches honoring its racing heritage. Designers were inspired by the DBR1’s exterior paint, Aston Martin Racing Green, and chose it for the DBS 59. The special treatment includes badging, unique front grille, and brake calipers. They even studied the seats of the DBR1 and recreated the weave of the material for this modern version. This is a limited edition, so only 24 will be made… one for each of the 24 hours of Le Mans.
