Tesla Motors has announced a new mid-size all-electric crossover utility that promises responsive performance, expansive cargo and passenger room with seating for up to 7, and a maximum available battery range of 300 miles.  Tesla expects initial deliveries of Model Y Performance, Long Range Rear-Wheel Drive and Dual-Motor All-Wheel Drive variants to begin in Fall 2020.  The $39,000 Standard Range will arrive in Spring 2021, with an expected 230-mile driving range.
