Tesla is revealing more about how they plan to change business as usual. 

Electreck.co is reporting CEO Elon Musk has confirmed glass in the Tesla Model 3 will be from the Tesla glass technology group - a new company within Tesla. 

Last week Musk unveiled the company’s new solar roof tiles for homes, made from "Tesla Glass". Musk is quoted as saying, "It is using a lot of techniques used in automotive glass business”.  From what we’ve seen so far, the Tesla Model 3 will feature a lot of glass especially in the roof.  Tesla has said they plan to deliver 100,000 cars by the end of 2017.
