The lap of luxury is getting a whole lot faster. Bentley is unveiling the new Bentayga Speed. The mighty 6.0-litre W12 engine cranks out 634 horsepower and 664 lb.ft of torque. Horsepower is up about 25 from the Bentayga without the word speed in its name. Those numbers translate to a top speed of 190 mph and 0-62 mph in 3.9 seconds.
There are cues of this more performance oriented luxo-ute, including dark-tint headlights, body-colored side skirts and a tailgate spoiler. Inside, Speed badging hints at what the throttle can do, and Alcantara trim makes its way into the Bentayga for the first time.
The list of choices for luxury utilities that can go fast is growing with the Lamborghini Urus and Maserati Levante GTS joining the mix. The Bentley Bentayga Speed will make its global debut at the Geneva Motor Show before going on sale later this year.
