It looks like the company that builds Subarus will now actually be called Subaru, as Fuji Heavy Industries Ltd. is changing its name to the Subaru Corporation.  Started 100 years ago as an aircraft research laboratory, Fuji Heavy Industries began building cars in 1958.  The word “Subaru” is the Japanese name for the Pleiades star cluster; and in case you didn’t know, the brand’s logo symbolizes the six companies that merged to form Fuji Heavy Industries.

 A dozen down, two to go.  Dodge has released the twelfth video in the series of teasers for the 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon.  The latest is called “No Ice”, and it focuses on the super-cooled air induction system that actually uses the car’s air conditioning system, in conjunction with the liquid-to-air intercooler, to cool incoming air.  We’ll see it in person just before the New York International Auto Show next week.  Here’s the link:www.ifyouknowyouknow.com
