Subaru is giving us more reasons to look forward to the Tokyo Motor Show. The company has released a teaser image of the Viziv Performance Concept. The say the sport sedan will feature advanced driver-assist technology. The 45th Tokyo Motor Show is next month.
Jaguar’s sports car DNA is embracing the EV revolution. Automotive News is reporting there will be a successor to the F-Type sports car. They quote Jaguar Design Director Ian Callum as saying, "sports cars are not going to go away". That’s despite the popularity of SUVs. It’s apparently not clear when we’ll be driving the new F-Type. However, they say they have confirmation from Jaguar Land Rover's North America CEO Joe Eberhardt, it will have an electrified powertrain.
A big blow for Uber in a major market. Reuters is reporting London’s transport regulator has decided not to renew Uber’s license to operate. They report British regulators cited “the firm’s approach to reporting serious criminal offences and background checks on drivers”. Uber issued an apology in an open letter to the residents of London. The company will apparently be allowed to continue operating while it appeals the decision.
