ROUSH Performance, most widely known for their aftermarket Ford support, have announced that orders for their Bronco R Series Kit are now open.

The ROUSH Performance R Series Kit can be ordered for any trim Bronco, two-door or four-door, equipped with either the 2.3-liter 4-cylinder or 2.7-liter six-cylinder. With an MSRP of $6,750, the kit will be shipped to consumers or dealerships in a special limited-edition crate, and can be installed at ROUSH authorized dealers.

The Bronco R Series Kit includes a performance air intake and a special axle-back exhaust, both of which will be available separately on Decembe 23rd. The kit will also include five wheels, exterior graphics and interior protection components.

 In order to keep with the on-and-off-road spirit of the Bronco, the ROUSH air intake delivers a 30 percent improvement in airflow while maintaining the factory water-fording capability. The three-inch axle back is constructed of T304 stainless steel, designed to improve sound, as well as increase ground clearance and departure angle.

The five ROUSH-original 17-inch off-road wheels do not come with tires already mounted, leaving consumers with plenty of options. Still, ROUSH recommends the General Tire Grabber X3 (specifically: LT315/70R17). 


To further standout amongst the slow-growing herd of Broncos, the kit also includes a variety of exterior graphics, such as hood decals, windshield banners, American flags and a Jack Roush signature decal. Buyers will receive ROUSH fender badges and an “R” trailer hitch cover.

The interior is protected by full-depth front and rear floor liners; four-door models will also receive middle floor liners. A ROUSH off-road recovery kit is also included, providing a weather-proof storage case, recovery straps, D-links, a flashlight and work gloves.

All R Kits come with a certificate of authenticity; however, the kit is currently not 50-state emissions compliant.
