The forward thinking folks at Mercedes-AMG have us looking forward to warmer weather and open air driving. They’re introducing the new Mercedes-AMG GT R Roadster. Zero to 60 zooms by in 3.5 seconds thanks to the 577 hp V8 Biturbo and AMG SPEEDSHIFT seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. Top speed is 197 mph. You’ll want to head to a track to see the speedometer go that high.
This open-top sports cars also features adjustable coil-over suspension with active rear axle steering, and active aerodynamics, so a drive on your favorite back road is also lively. As with most things in life that are truly special, they’re also rare. Mercedes-AMG says production is limited to 750 units worldwide.
