Ram has recently announced two new “Lunar Editions,” available for the 1500 Rebel and TRX.

The main appeal to these trims is the exclusive paint job, as both Lunar Editions give each of these pickups a new “Ceramic Gray” lacquer. Beyond that, both of these are elevated versions of their respective foundations.

Starting with the 1500 Rebel, the Lunar Edition is available with the Level 2 equipment group and the 5.7-liter HEMI V8. That means the cabin comes with a Uconnect 5 12-inch infotainment touchscreen, heated front seats and steering wheel, 2nd-row storage bins and a whole lot more; and under the hood is an engine capable of 395 horsepower and 410 lb-ft of torque. The Lunar Edition also brings on the Rebel hood and bed graphics, as well as a slew of black trimmings and matching wheels.

The 1500 Rebel Lunar Edition will start at $72,205 with destination. A similarly equipped 2023 Ram 1500– specifically, one equipped with 4×4, the HEMI V8, Level 2 Equipment, and the hood and side graphics– starts in the neighborhood of $68,000, with equally optioned 4×2 models starting around $64,000. Base Rebel 1500’s can be had for $55,285 with delivery.

Ram 1500 Rebel and TRX Lunar Editions Make Touchdown

The TRX Lunar Edition ups the ante a bit more, starting, of course, with the supercharged 6.2-liter HEMI V8, hitting the tarmac with 702 horsepower and 650 lb-ft of torque. Of course, the Lunar Edition also receives the Ceramic Gray exterior paint. You can also expect the graphics, 18-inch beadlock-capable wheels and other TRX items. The interior, also aided by the Level 2 Equipment Group, sees Surf Blue accent stitching, finding its way onto the ‘TRX’ seatback embroidering. There’s also some carbon fiber accents, like those found on the flat-bottom steering wheel.

The Ram 1500 TRX Lunar Edition starts at $108,340 with delivery. For comparison, a 2023 TRX equipped with the Level 2 Group, the Carbon Fiber package, the various graphics and dual-pane panoramic sunroof starts around $102,000, though base TRX’s start at $86,450 with delivery.
