Carlos Tavares, Chairman of the Managing board for PSA Groupe, the parent company of automotive brands Peugeot, Citroen, Vauxhall and Opel, among others, has announced plans for Peugeot to be the first of its vehicle brands to re-enter the U.S. and Canadian markets, within the next few years.  PSA Groupe’s ride-sharing service, Free2Move Carsharing, has been operating in Washington DC since late 2018 with a fleet of 500 cars, as a way for the company to gain insight into the North American market in preparation for re-launching as a vehicle retailer, along with other traditional business lines of service, financing and logistics.
