Potent Porsche, Subaru Speed, & Honda AI
June 9, 2017
Porsche has revealed an even more potent 911 Turbo. At 607-horsepower, the 2018 911 Turbo S Exclusive Series Coupe is the most powerful 911 Turbo S ever. Only 500 will be produced worldwide. The price starts at $257,500.
More performance news from Subaru, as well. A lightweight 310-horsepower 2018 Subaru WRX STI Type RA and 2018 Subaru BRZ tS. They’re stopping short of calling BRZ a true STI, but claim it is “tuned by” them, and is chocked full of STI parts. Curious. They’ll only make 500 of each, arriving in dealers early next year.
Honda has set its sights on 2025. That’s when they plan to introduce "high automation" vehicles which is considered SAE Level 4. At that level the vehicle can handle all driving tasks in most driving situations. Honda's Artificial Intelligence with Deep Learning technology is being developed to deal with a variety of driving situations, including roads without proper lane markings.
