Porsche Taycan Completes 24-Hour Nardo Endurance Run

More about Porache's upcoming Taycan all-electric car. Porsche has also announced that they have completed an impressive 24 hour endurance run for the Taycan. At the famed Nardo test track in Italy, a pre-production Taycan completed 2,128.1 miles while maintaining an average speed of between 121 and 133 mph. The peak air temperature during the run was 107 degrees Fahrenheit and the track temperature soared to 129 degrees. The prototype ran non-stop except for quick charging and driver changes. The test was part of a total of 3.7-million test miles that the Taycan is covering during its development. The Taycan is the first fully electric production vehicle with a system voltage of 800 volts.
