Porsche Mission E Takes On Tesla Model S
Porsche has announced Mission E, an electric sports sedan, at the IAA in Frankfurt. Mission E is the brand’s first all-electrically powered four-seat sports car in its history. The Mission E concept, with the unmistakable design of a Porsche, has four doors, an 800-volt drive system, over 600 horse power and over 310 mile driving range. Mission E also has all-wheel drive and all-wheel steering, can go zero to 60 miles per hour in under 3.5 seconds and has a charge time of around 15 minutes to reach 80%. The Mission E also has intuitive instruments that are operated by eye-tracking and gesture control that adjust automatically to the driver's position.
There's no date set as to when Porsche will start production on the Mission E, but we get the impression this is happening soon.
