A number of websites including Off-Road.com and AutoGuide.com have uncovered photos of what is now believed to be the upcoming Ford "Baby" Bronco. The images were revealed at a recent Ford dealer meeting in Las Vegas. The photos show a 4-door SUV, expected to be smaller than the Ford Escape, that retains much of the original 1966 Ford Bronco’s right-angle, no-nonsense exterior. A mid-size 2020 Bronco based on the new Ford Ranger, a direct rival for the Jeep Wrangler Unlimited, is expected to be unveiled at the 2019 North American International Auto Show in January. The "Baby" Bronco will likely follow a year later and at this point does not have a name although one rumor is that it could revived the Maverick nameplate.
