A Chrysler Pacifica crossover is coming.  Motor Trend is reporting production could begin in 18 months.  They quote FCA CEO Sergio Marchionne as saying, “We’re still playing with that thing. It’s there. We have the car designed and we’re ready to go.”  They say the Pacifica crossover will be built in Windsor, Ontario.

The first 2019 Ford Mustang Bullitt will benefit an organization with close ties to the actor who made the car famous.  The first new Mustang Bullitt off the factory line will go up auction.  Proceeds will benefit Boys Republic, a school and treatment community for troubled youngsters.  Steve McQueen graduated from Boys Republic in 1946.  He went on to star in the 1968 movie Bullitt beginning the legend surrounding the car.  Ford unveiled the 2019 Ford Mustang Bullitt with a 5.0-liter V8 engine that packs at least 475 horsepower his week at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit.  If you don’t have the winning bid, they’re expected to be in dealers this summer.
