22021 Nissan Kicks North American Model Teaser

December 8th looks like a busy day for car junkies and the automotive media as the North American version of the 2021 Nissan Kicks is set to join the production version of 2022 Acura MDX in making official reveals. The Kicks, Nissan's smallest SUV here, will be an important model in bolstering Nissan's North American sales. While the subcompact utility segment is already very crowded, it is also where a lot of market growth is anticipated over the next few years. The new Kicks is not all new, but it does include numerous upgrades including exterior and interior styling and connectivity. The global version of the Kicks was unveiled last June in Japan, and one of its biggest additions was the inclusion of an advanced electric-hybrid  model with Nissan's e-Power motor and battery. As of now that model is not expected to make it here anytime soon. North American Kicks will likely continue to be powered by a 1.6-liter gasoline engine.
