The Department of Transportation and the Environmental Protection Agency are seeking public comments as they review U.S. vehicle fuel-efficiency standards. The focus is on model years 2022 to 2025. Public comments are being accepted for 45 days.
Tesla is thinking about the long-haul. Reuters is reporting the company is moving toward testing an electric semi-truck with autonomous capabilities. They report the company wants to put the prototype on the road in California and Nevada. Tesla has said they plan to unveil the truck in September.
