It's early on in the Los Angeles Auto Show, with the first press days today, but already we've seen a trend: small SUVs...

Jaguar made big healdines with their I-PACE concept, a small SUV and the brand's first ever electric vehicle. Jag estimates a 0-60 time around 4-seconds, with 220 milies of range.

Ford announced their smallest SUV ever, the EcoSport. It grabs power from either a 1.0-liter turbocharged 3-cylinder engine, or a 2.0-liter I4. Ford's four wheel drive system will be available with the bigger engine.

Chevrolet gave their mini-car Spark the crossover treatment, bumping ride height, adding roof rails and rocker panels, and faux-skidplates to the Spark ACTIV.

And Alfa Romeo looks to keep their revival going with the Stelvio, a mid-size SUV based on the Giulia sedan. Power will come from the same 280-horsepower I4 or 505-horsepower Ferrari-derived twin-turbo V6.
