More cars from the past can now have the power of modern engines.

New Mopar Crate HEMI Engine Kits were unveiled at the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show in Las Vegas.

The kits allow Gen III HEMI engines to be installed in Mopar vehicles from the 1970s and earlier.  The new offerings include the Mopar 345 Crate HEMI Engine Kit for the 383 horsepower 5.7-liter engine, and Mopar 392 Crate HEMI Engine Kit for the 485 horsepower 6.4-liter HEMI.

Along with the engines, kits are also available for other components including power steering as options. A complete list of Mopar accessories and performance parts is available at www.mopar.com.
