Michigan Bill allows operation of Self-Driving Cars beyond testing

That state of Michigan is preparing for public sales and operation of self-driving cars due to new legislation. In a recent story posed in the Detroit Free Press, lawmakers and transportation leaders approved the expansion based on the rapid growth of technology. According to the story, Michigan will operate under a newly introduced package of the bipartisan bills that would update the 2013 laws to allow for the operation of autonomous vehicles on public roads without anyone at the wheel.
