Mazda Mileage & Silverado Diesel
January 18, 2018
Mazda can “zoom-zoom” while sipping gas. The company tops the EPA’s annual list for Manufacturer Adjusted Fuel Economy for the 2016 model year. It’s the fifth year in a row Mazda has earned the ranking. Mazda’s overall average fuel economy was 29.6 miles per gallon. That’s 0.4 mpg better than the previous year. The company credits their SKYACTIV TECHNOLOGY.
GM’s new diesel engine will be built in Flint, Michigan. The Duramax 3.0 liter inline-six turbo-diesel will be one of the engine choices for the 2019 Silverado. It will be paired with a Hydra-Matic 10-speed automatic transmission.
