Uber has some new competition in the self-driving car race.  Lyft and Waymo have formed a new partnership.  Reuters is reporting both companies see the deal as a way to move their autonomous driving efforts forward.  They say Lyft will still be able to continue its self-driving partnership with General Motors.

Another partnership is bringing more technology to the driver’s seat.  Volvo is teaming up with Google to keep their customers connected using an Android based system.  Volvo says it will show up in their vehicles within two years.

Things are returning to normal on the assembly line of Renault-Nissan plants in Europe.  Reuters is reporting the company said Monday output is back to normal at nearly all of its plants affected by Friday’s global cyber attack.  They quote a spokesperson saying a remaining plant was scheduled to reopen today.
