Its official. Ford will revive the Lightning name when it formally reveals it's long awaited battery-electric F-150 pickup truck at 9:30 ET in a live broadcast on May 19th. View the unveiling on Ford's Facebook and YouTube channels, as well as on Twitter and other media outlets. This is the first use of the Lightning name in almost 20 years. Ford claims that the new F-150 BEV version of America's favorite vehicle will be even quicker than the original Lightning performance truck, and be able to power your home in a power outage to boot.
