Lexus is highlighting the redesigned 2022 Lexus LX 600, the brand’s flagship full-size sport utility, alongside the 2022 NX subcompact SUV, now with a plug-in hybrid option, at the Los Angeles Auto Show.

The 2022 LX 600 has been redesigned from the ground up and boasts five different models, including an LX F Sport and LX Ultra Luxury. Each model features third-row seating, with the exception of the Ultra Luxury; it comes with four independent seats with a cabin experience catered towards passengers. All 2022 LX 600’s will be powered by an all-new 3.5-liter V6, complimented by a twin-turbo setup.

Joining the LX 600 is the 2022 Lexus NX, a subcompact SUV rebuilt upon another new platform. The NX will be powered by a new 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine, with an optional plug-in hybrid option available. This has been dubbed the NX 450h+ AWD, and it is the first plug-in hybrid electric vehicle to be offered by Lexus.

Both the LX 600 and NX will be assisted by the Lexus Interface multimedia system, utilizing voice assistance and recognition features. It is combined with a user profile system which will give each driver control and personalization over the multimedia interface, such as screen mode and audio preferences.Cloud-based navigation will be integrated, with wireless Apple Car Play and Android Auto available for occupants.

The 2022 LX 600 is expected to reach dealers in the beginning of next year; official pricing is yet to be announced. The 2022 NX will start at $39,025 following destination fees; the plug-in NX 450h+ AWD at $56,725.
