More awards for the Jaguar I-PACE. The electric luxury SUV has won the European Car of the Year 2019 award. MotorWeek has been following the development of the I-PACE since it was first revealed at the 2018 LA Auto Show. It has all-wheel-drive, thanks to a twin-motor arrangement; with both front and rear motors getting equal amount of power from the 90-kwH battery pack that is mounted low in the I-PACE’s all-new chassis. The two motors combine for a total output of 394-horsepower and 512 lb-ft. of torque.
The Jaguar I-PACE has won 55 awards globally since it launched a year ago, including the MotorWeek’s 2019 Drivers’ Choice Award winner for “Best of the Year”.
