GM to Co-Develop Two EVs with Honda
April 3, 2020
GM has announced that they will co-develop a pair of all-electric vehicles with Honda. The two models will use GM's new Ultium battery system and platform. Honda will design all other aspects of the vehicles including exterior and interior. Like most Hondas on sale here, they will be built in the U.S., but in this case at a GM owned facility. They will be available with a Honda version of GM's Super Cruise hands-free driving system when they arrive on the market in 2024. Honda and GM are no strangers to cooperation on EVs as their partnership goes back to their working together on fuel cells in 2013
