SF Motors is adding to the effort to put electric vehicles on the road. The company has announced they’ll invest $160 million in the Mishawaka, Indiana facility they bought in November 2017. The 467 people who will work there will be involving in making the company’s first electric vehicles, the SF5 and SF7. In the past, that plant has produced Hummer H2s and Mercedes-Benz R-Class vehicles. It will be renovated and retooled. They expect to be fully operational by 2020.
