The EV evolution is taking another leap forward. A German company called Sono Motors plans to build a solar electric vehicle… an SEV. They’re calling it the Sion. The company is teaming up with National Electric Vehicle Sweden to produce them at a plant that once made cars for SAAB.
They say soaking up sun rays will allow the Sion to go more than 158-miles starting at less than $29,000. Production begins in 2020. They hope 260,000 vehicles will roll off the production line in Trollhättan during 8-years.
