Dodge’s Last “Last Call” Will Be Here at Last; Slated for March Premiere
Dodge Charger Daytona SRT Concept
Last year we covered the unfortunate news that the Dodge Challenger and Charger would both come to an end after the 2023 model year; however, not before going out with a bang in the form of seven “Last Call” models. We’ve seen six of them so far, but the final one– originally slated for a SEMA 2022 reveal– was pushed back until further notice.
Well, the wait is finally (almost) over, as Dodge has set a new time and place for the final “Last Call” unveiling: March 20th, 2023, at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. The “Last Call performance festival,” honors the legacy of Dodge’s muscle car heritage and while continuing to usher in the brand’s era of electrified performance.
In that light, expect the Dodge Charger Daytona SRT Concept to make an appearance, flexing its amped up muscles and Fratzonic chambered exhaust.
“The Dodge ‘Last Call’ event will be a celebration of Dodge performance,” said Tim Kuniskis, Dodge brand chief executive officer. “While the ‘Last Call’ special-edition model we will reveal at Las Vegas and the electrified Dodge Charger Daytona SRT Concept represent different performance eras for our brand, both are linked by a commitment to delivering the Brotherhood of Muscle a vehicle that drives like a Dodge, looks like a Dodge and sounds like Dodge. No matter the era, Dodge will always be about muscle, attitude and performance, and that’s what this event will celebrate.”
Anyone fortunate enough to attend the event can expect drag races, “Thrill Rides,” a Dodge car show, celebrity appearances, and post-event festivities. The reveal event is open to the public, but there will also be a livestream for Dodge fans around the world to tune in to.
