For that price you get 840 horsepower and 770 lb.-ft of torque… which are perhaps the most interesting numbers.
Toyota hopes to speed up the race to make self-driving cars. The company is teaming up with MIT Media Lab and others to work on blockchain technology. It’s basically a more secure way of conducting transactions and sharing information online. Toyota believes this “could accelerate development of autonomous driving technology”.
Daimler is literally laying the ground work for what they call their “electric offensive”. The company is building a new battery plant in Germany. It’s scheduled to begin operating the middle of next year. Daimler expects to have more than ten purely electric passenger cars by 2022.
