It’s never too early to think about the weekend, and if off-roading is part of the plan Chevrolet has something new. This is the Colorado ZR2 Bison. Think of it as a more rugged Colorado ZR2. This mid-size rough rider includes factory steel bumpers and five Boron steel skid plates covering the engine oil pan, fuel tank, transfer case and front and rear locking differentials. The Bison is a collaboration between Chevy and American Expedition Vehicles. It comes with the features that make the Colorado ZR2 stand out, like a modified rear axle, wider front and rear tracks, and a suspension that sits 2 inches higher than the Colorado Z71. The 2019 Colorado ZR2 Bison goes on sale in January 2019.
