Chevrolet is not letting a slew of new 3-row crossover utilities pass by without challenge. The stalwart mass market GM brand has just released details of updates coming later this year to the 2021 Traverse, the brand’s third most popular vehicle. This CUV, like most mid-cycle freshenings, includes new front and rear treatments. The former gets the brand’s latest face with a decidedly more upscale if squarer appearance that includes standard LED headlights. Interior additions include an 8.0-inch driver information center, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, and a power rear sunshade for the optional two-panel sunroof. With family safety always a priority, more active features are now standard including forward collision alert with automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning and lane keep assist, front pedestrian detection, and automatic high beams.
