The Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas is proving to be an important event for automakers. The new Mercedes-Benz CLA is making its world premiere. It’s wider, longer and a little lower than the previous model. The CLA also features the newest advancements in the MBUX Interior Assistant which can recognize commands from gestures along with voice. The 2020 Mercedes-Benz CLA will go on sale in the U.S. by late 2019.
Nissan also was in the spotlight at CES with the 2019 Nissan LEAF e+. Changes include a new powertrain with more power and range. With a 62 kWh battery pack the car's range increases by approximately 40 percent, with EPA-estimated range of up to 226 miles.
