The 2018 Toyota Camry begins rolling off the assembly line today in Georgetown, Kentucky.  It’s the company’s first vehicle built in North America on the Toyota New Global Architecture.  Look for it at dealers soon.  Until then, here’s our first drive.

There’s a new team in the race to bring self-driving cars to the road.  Volvo Cars and Autoliv have a joint venture called Zenuity.  Now NVIDIA is joining the mix.  Volvo says NVIDIA’s AI car computing platform will serve as the foundation of developing self-driving technologies.  Volvo wants to have Level 4 autonomous cars for sale by 2021.

This 592-horsepower Jaguar XE SV Project 8 will make its global debut later this week at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in the UK.  It will be Jaguar’s most powerful performance road car ever, and only 300 of them will be made.  The Jaguar XE SV Project 8 will start around $194,000.
