BMW to end Z4 production, but successor under development
August 31, 2016
A sports car with a famous badge appears to have run its course. Autoblog reports that BMW is planning to end production of the current Z4 roadster. They say production will halt by the end of August.
Fans of 2-seat roadsters will still have an option from BMW, though, as Autoblog says the company plans a successor to the Z4, under their new partnership with Toyota. They say we should expect similar proportions, as well as four and six cylinder power. But nothing is concrete as of now.
