Fans of BMW films will get what they’ve been waiting for. 

BMW has announced a new short film is coming soon.  British actor Clive Owen will be back in the driver’s seat of the BMW feature in “The Escape”. You can see a behind-the-scenes teaser below:

BMW started releasing a series of short films, "The Hire", in 2001, also starring Clive Owen. 

Once again renowned authors, directors and actors are working on this latest project, including Dakota Fanning (“War of the Worlds,” “I am Sam”), Jon Bernthal (“The Punisher,” “Daredevil”) and Vera Farmiga (“The Departed,” “Up in the Air”). The film was directed by South African director and Academy Award® nominee Neill Blomkamp (“District 9”, “Elysium”). “The Escape” will premiere on Sunday, 23 October 2016, at 12.00 CET on BMWFilms.com.

No word on what BMW vehicles will be featured.
