Bentley has unveiled their upcoming new Continental GT “S range” models, said to elevate the vehicle’s performance and style.

The all-new S range models come after Bentley’s recent showing of the Azure range of vehicles-- a luxury and comfort-inclined approach spanning a majority of the automaker’s models. The S range will, at this time, build solely off of Bentley’s two-door Continental offerings.

The Continental GT and GTC S are both powered by Bentley’s 4.0-liter V8 engine, tuned and twin-turboed to an output of 542 brake horsepower and 568 lb-ft of torque. This calls for a 0-62 mph time of 4.0-seconds. As part of the S range treatment, both models crank up the decibels with a special Sports Exhaust system.

This power is partially controlled by Bentley Dynamic Ride-- a 48 V electric active anti-roll control system. Motors located within the anti-roll bars are able to compensate for cornering forces by generating up to 959 lb-ft of force in 0.3-seconds, providing stability in a turn. In tandem, this system can also provide a more comfortable riding experience at cruising speeds by decoupling the left and right wheels from one another.

Bespoke design elements include the gloss black grille, dark tinted lights, and unique “S” badging on the front fenders. The small rear wing is also gloss black, matching the 22-inch wheels and the quad-tip exhaust. Those wheels sheath contrasting red brake calipers, breaking up the blackout aesthetic; similarly, the winged Bentley badge and lettering are still finished in chrome.

Inside, the S range receives a unique split two-tone interior with suede-like Dinamica material covering the steering wheel, gear lever, seat cushions and seat backrests-- and leather components used throughout the cabin. The S logo can be found throughout the cabin, including the embroidering on the headrests and on the special treadplates.
