With the recent launch of the revived Acura Integra, it seemed like it was only a matter of time before the Integra Type S would also debut. Now we know when to expect it: Summer 2023, arriving for the 2024 model year.

The high-performance Integra Type S is to be powered by a “high-revving 2.0-liter VTEC turbocharged engine producing over 300 horsepower and paired exclusively with a 6-speed manual transmission and limited slip differential.” This setup sounds quite familiar, echoing the powertrain of the new Honda Civic Type R which we recently took out for a spin.
