The full reveal of the Acura Integra Type S is fast approaching, and today we’ve received a tease of its performance stats: 320 horsepower and 310 lb-ft of torque.

These figures are made possible by the vehicle’s sole powertrain: a 2.0-liter VTEC turbocharged engine, paired exclusively to a six-speed manual transmission. With this announcement comes a new teaser video, underscored by the liftback’s VTEC reaching for an undisclosed redline.

The new Type S will be officially revealed in April ahead of the 48th annual Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach– a fitting venue for a car promising the “ultimate street performance delivered with premium appointments.” After our First Drive in the 2023 Honda Civic Type R, we can’t wait to see how Acura spices up this already-hot hatch. The Type S is conjuring up five more horsepower than its Honda cousin– not a huge difference, but certainly nothing to complain about.

Following next month’s reveal, the 2024 Acura Integra Type S will officially launch later this summer. We’ll cover the reveal and the launch here on MotorWeek, so stay tuned!
