Subaru has released pricing for the 2023 Crosstrek and Crosstrek Hybrid compact SUVs, as well as additional info on trims and options.

The 2023 Subaru Crosstrek will start at $24,870; that’s for the Base trim level with a 6-speed manual transmission and includes destination fees. The plug-in Crosstrek Hybrid will start at $38,070 after destination.

In total, the internal-combustion Crosstrek will be available in 11 different configurations, spread out across five trims and various engine/transmission configurations; Subaru’s Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive is standard across the entire lineup. The Crosstrek Base and Premium are powered by a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder BOXER engine, producing 152 horsepower. These are the only trims available with either the 6-speed manual or the optional CVT automatic. Every trim after that is only made with the CVT, but just the Special Edition model comes with the 2.0-liter; Sport and Limited trims are powered by a 2.5-liter BOXER putting out 182 horsepower. At its most-equipped, the Crosstrek Limited will max out at $33,115.

The aforementioned Special Edition grade will sport a new trim-exclusive Desert Khaki exterior paint; all four corners are supported by Dark Gray 17-inch aluminum wheels and Crystal Black trimmings are seen all around. It also throws in the 8-inch STARLINK multimedia display found standard in the Limited and Hybrid models. Available as a single level, the Special Edition will price out at $27,970.

The Crosstrek Hybrid takes the 2.0-liter BOXER and CVT, and pairs them up with two electric motors. This system allows for up to 17 miles of EV-only range and an EPA-rated 35 MPG/90 MPGe. Available as only one model, the Hybrid can be equipped with a moonroof, navigation system, Harman Kardon sound system and heated steering wheel, maxing out at $40,570 with destination.

Both the 2023 Crosstrek and Crosstrek Hybrid are expected to reach dealerships this summer.
