Kia Seltos Nightfall Edition

Kia has put forth price and package details for their 2023 Seltos subcompact SUV.

The 2023 Seltos is a carryover model with very few changes; as such, the Seltos has only seen a small adjustment in price. The base “S” model will start at $24,185, which includes Kia’s $1,295 destination fee. All-wheel drive can be added to the S, bringing the starting price up to $25,685.

All other trims are offered exclusively in AWD, but there are two separate powertrains available depending on the selected trim. The S, S AWD, LX and EX are powered by the same 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine, producing 146 horsepower and 132 lb-ft of torque. The other two trims available, the SX and Nightfall Edition, are propelled by a 1.6-liter turbo-4, bumping it up to 175 horsepower and 195 lb-ft of torque.

Stepping up to the top trim SX will cost you $29,635-- again, including destination and not including any options-- whereas the Nightfall Edition will set you back $28,335. If the 2.0-liter satisfies you just fine, you can save a little with the LX’s $24,135 or the EX’s $27,435 starting price.

We’ll have more news on the 2023 Kia Seltos soon, but you can also check out our thoughts on the similar 2021 model.
