Gone are the days when packing the minivan for your family’s 7 hour drive to the beach included two coolers and four ice packs. As part of a 2025 refresh, the Toyota Sienna minivan will be available with their FridgeBox cooler.

The FridgeBox isn’t a new concept, but is certainly a welcomed addition to this standby choice in people hauling. This built-in cooler lives in the front console, keeping drinks and snacks chilled for those long hauls or parked tailgates, meaning you’ll have one less cooler taking up leg room.

In addition to the FridgeBox, the new Sienna has a console vacuum, and these features come standard on the Platinum model, the top of five grades, and is available on the Limited. These two trims are joined by, in ascending order, the LE, XLE, XSE and Woodland Edition.

Alongside the 2025 Sienna release, Toyota announced their new standard rear seat movement detection system. The system will be able to detect movement in the rear seats even after the vehicle is turned off and locked, so if you forget to let the dog out of the back seat when you get home, the system will begin flashing the hazard lights and sound the door lock chime. From there, it will continue to escalate until the problem is addressed.

Inside the car, the cabin is refitted with new materials and style. Tech-wise, most grades receive a 12.3-inch digital instrument display, with the base LE being the only to utilize Toyota’s 8-inch unit instead. Also available is the latest Toyota Audio Multimedia system with an available 12.3-inch touchscreen.

Exterior changes are mild, with new wheels on the Platinum and Woodland Edition grades. Toyota also added a new exterior color, Magnetic Gray Metallic, to the Platinum, Limited, X SE, XLE and LE grades.

Arriving this fall, the 2025 Toyota Sienna retail price will start at $40,635 with the $1,450 destination fee attached. For reference, this represents an increase over the 2024 Sienna LE’s $39,135 starting price with the same destination attached.
