Cadillac’s “V” performance sub-brand is getting a new entry, the 2026 LYRIQ-V, touted as the quickest Cadillac ever produced and the first-ever electric V-Series model.

To make this happen, the LYRIQ has been souped up in typical V fashion– that starts with some extra twist sent to the wheels, followed by chassis tweaking and a number of visual goodies. What hasn’t changed is the battery pack, still a 102 kWh lithium-ion pack that, in the V, is manufacturer-estimated at 285 miles of range.

Getting the LYRIQ-V up to 60 in 3.3 seconds is a pair of electric motors which, capable of dishing out a combined 615 horsepower and 650 lb-ft of torque, rocketing this nearly 6,000 lb. utility down the stretch in the stated time with the Velocity Max feature activated. As anticipated, a steering wheel “V-Mode” button will let you dial the performance to your liking; a “Competitive Mode” will enable a unique sound profile and, more importantly, traction management suite. Should some corners come your way, a specially tuned chassis will do its part in agility; the multi-link suspension has been lowered, the steering ratio quickened, and Continuous Damping Control mounted standard. Behind the front set of 22-inch wheels, wrapped by 275/40R22 summer tires (as are the rears), are Brembo brakes, available with a red finish and complemented by a V-Series logo.

Tinkering with V-Mode settings means interacting with the 33-inch display, a system we’ve seen and appreciated already. The LYRIQ-V’s cabin will come with an augmented reality head-up display, a panoramic glass roof, a 23-speaker AKG sound system, and a number of V-Series accents. The exterior receives a similar treatment; unique V signifiers, such as a resculpted lower front fascia and side rockers, available carbon fiber adornments, and the all important badges.

To be produced early this year at General Motors’ Spring Hill Manufacturing plant in Tennessee, the 2026 Cadillac LYRIQ-V will start at $79,990 with destination attached.
