Hyundai has confirmed pricing for the upcoming 2025 IONIQ 5 N, their first N-branded electric performance vehicle, starting at $67,475 with destination.

For the uninitiated, the “N” denotes Hyundai’s performance sub-brand; and, as the name suggests, this model is a performance take on their IONIQ 5 electric SUV. That means a total system output of 601 horsepower, derived from a pair of electric motors comprising the all-wheel drive layout.

But N means more than just extra horsepower. Here, the structure has been reinforced by 42 additional weld points and extra adhesive; complimented by strengthened motor and battery mounts, and stiffened subframes. Steering has also been improved, featuring a special “Rack-Mounted Motor-Driven Power Steering” system, providing a quicker ratio and better feedback.

Most of these enhancements were previously covered when Hyundai debuted the IONIQ 5 N at last year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed. You can read up on all the special features there; but, it’s good to finally have a price to pin to this performance machine.
