Although they aren’t at the forefront of our vehicle testing, motorcycles have long been a part of our program, and one tourer that has withstood the test of time is the Honda Gold Wing, now celebrating 50 years of two wheeling.

As such, the 2025 Honda Gold Wing will receive unique styling cues to honor the model’s five decade tenure and an infotainment update, with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay now standard. According to Honda, “most” 2025 Gold Wing versions will also come with two anniversary-themed gifts, a book detailing the bike’s history and a 1:12 model.

The 2025 Gold Wing comes in a matte black finish, adorned with bold Gold Wing logos on the saddlebags and fairings, anniversary badging, and a unique “Since 1975” startup display on the infotainment system. The manual-equipped Gold Wing MSRPs at $25,200, with the dual-clutch automatic costing an extra grand.

The Gold Wing Tour gets a little extra dressed for the party, offered in three new colors for 2025: Bordeaux Red Metallic, Eternal Gold and Light Silver Metallic; however, Honda doesn’t consider the silver a 50th Anniversary variant, therefore the appropriate badging has been forgone. Pricing here is a little more involved, with the Gold Wing Tour non-anniversary version starting at $28,700 and the DCT again costing an extra thousand dollars. The 50th Anniversary Gold Wing Tour starts at $29,200, the DCT at $30,200, and the Airbag version at $33,500.

It has been a while since we’ve revved up a Honda Gold Wing, our last spin being on a 2018 model, and a 40th Anniversary Edition before that. While the Gold Wing has evolved over the years, it remains a benchmark for touring bikes.
