Cadillac has been making big plays in their electrification strategy, from last year’s introduction of the LYRIQ EV utility and the reveal of the ultra-luxurious CELESTIQ sedan, to this year’s reveals of the entry-level OPTIQ and “well-known nameplate turned EV” Escalade IQ. And now they’re making another play with this, the 2026 VISTIQ.

The all-electric VISTIQ is said to slot in between the LYRIQ and Escalade IQ, filling the role of a luxury three-row utility “designed for the modern family.” It’s the third electric Caddy to be confirmed this year, and the fifth model to join their growing EV portfolio.

Here’s Our First Look at the 2026 Cadillac VISTIQ

Beyond that, details are relatively sparse, which makes sense considering the 2026 model designation. We likely won’t know more until later next year, including powertrain details and final pricing. So, why plug it so early? One, to generate hype; and two, to show luxury buyers that Cadillac is poised to offer an electric model across a variety of segments.

“VISTIQ adds another compelling EV to the Cadillac lineup, reinforcing our commitment to an electric future,” said John Roth, vice president of Global Cadillac. “Our brand now has an EV entry in most luxury segments, offering customers a range of choices, and Cadillac EVs will cover most luxury SUV segments across critical global markets in the next two years.”

Cadillac has been pretty forthcoming with details surrounding their other EV models, like the Escalade IQ and CELESTIQ. And we even had a chance to Road Test their first electric outing, the LYRIQ, back in season 42. We imagine the VISTIQ will retain some of the qualities we’ve seen in these models, like GM’s modular Ultium platform underpinning the whole thing, but we won’t know until we know. So until we know, stay tuned.
