GMC Sierra EV Elevation and AT4 Trims Arrive for ‘26; Base Price Lowers
March 28, 2025We’ve seen it happen with a number of EVs by this point, and the GMC Sierra EV is no exception: The vehicle arrives on dealership lots, only for those launch models to be of the highest trim– and thus, a higher price. In the case of the Sierra EV, that meant a 2024 Denali Edition 1, followed by a 2025 Denali, the latter starting at $91,995 with destination and before any incentives.
The upcoming model year is seeing a huge relief via price reduction, as the entry-level Elevation and off-road-minded AT4 join the fray, and the Denali itself sees a sizable slashing. The 2026 GMC Sierra EV Elevation Standard Range starts at $64,495 with destination, or $72,695 for the Extended Range battery; and the Denali Standard Range at $71,795, Extended Range at $79,995, and Max Range at a cool $100,695. The AT4, which can only be had with the Extended and Max battery options, starts at $81,395 for the former and $91,695 for the latter.
That’s a lot of numbers to take in, but we promise the rest of this is fairly straightforward. The Elevation, like other GMC models, is the entry point for buyers, while the AT4 is aimed at the off-roaders at heart. In this case, 2 inches of additional ground clearance, standard four-wheel steering, 35-inch all-terrain tires, and a trim-exclusive Terrain Mode for traversing uncertain pathways. Roads familiar to both you and your truck can be navigated with GM’s hands-free Super Cruise driver assistance suite, which is standard here and on the Denali. As expected, the Denali takes the truck in a more high-lux direction: Heated and ventilated seats, Super Cruise, Adaptive Air Suspension and a fixed panoramic glass roof. The Elevation isn’t exactly ‘stripped down,’ including the Sierra EV’s 16.8-inch infotainment screen and MultiPro Tailgate, though the midgate and Super Cruise are optional.
Exact battery details are unknown. We do know that an Elevation and Denali with the Extended Range punch at 645 horsepower, while the AT4 Extended Range sees a slight dip to 625 horses. The Max Range pack mumps the AT4 to 725 HP and the Denali to 760.
2026 models are expected to reach dealers sometime this summer, and we’ll have a clearer picture then.
