The Ford Mustang is a very, very popular choice in American car culture– so much so that many buyers feel the urge to modify and customize their ride to stand out from the rest. Sure, you can purchase a few factory packages that help deviate your Mustang from the norm, but so can everyone else. So what if you could have a truly bespoke Mustang straight from the factory?

We’re not quite there yet, but Ford is giving away one unique pony car. They’ve teamed up with actress and auto enthusiast Sydney Sweeney to build this custom 2024 Mustang GT coupe, and they’re giving it away to one lucky contestant.

Technically speaking, the winner of said contest won’t be the only person on Earth with this exact spec, as Ford also built an identical model for Sweeney. Still, that makes these machines limited enough. The contest opened this week, with participants able to enter until February 7th at 11:59 PM. Rules for entering can be found on the official Ford Instagram and TikTok; and an official entry appears to require a comment on the official post, pinned at the top.

“It’s heartening to see Ford celebrate individuals who are pushing past stereotypes to do what they love,” said Sweeney. “That’s why I was so excited to work with Ford on designing my dream car, and I can’t wait to surprise someone special with a matching vehicle.”

And what about the prize in question? The 2024 Mustang GT up for grabs is inspired by Sweeney’s aforementioned restoration, a ‘65 Mustang named “Britney.” It’s finished, appropriately, in “Brittany Blue,” though that’s not what you’ll find on the modern rendition. Instead, it’s lacquered in Robin’s Egg Blue with a clear coat made of crushed glass. It certainly pops, along with the 20-inch chrome wheels. The other defining exterior touch is the Ford x Sydney Sweeney heart bolt emblem mounted on the fender.

The interior sparkles as much as the custom exterior, almost literally, thanks to the color-changing LED stars embedded across the headliner, inspired by Sweeney’s love for night time drives. Other interior alterations include the custom sill plates and embossing on the brown leather seats. Under the hood, the only change is Sweeney’s signature adorning the engine cover.

This isn’t the first time Ford has teamed up with Sweeney, as last year they paired brands for two apparel lines; however, purchase of this swag is not necessary to enter the contest.
